These conversions post will allow you to install a US ABR-1 bridge on an Epiphone and other import guitars that were originally equipped with the large post Nashville bridge. Now you can have the same looks as the original vintage Gibson guitars! These posts will screw directly into the original body anchors and leave you with 6-32 threaded posts like the original ABR-1.
Can be purchased with or without thumbwheels.

**Please check the diameter of your original posts before ordering. The diameter of the threaded section of your bridge posts needs to measure 7.9mm for these to fit. The 7.9mm(M8) diameter bridge posts are found on most Epiphone and the better quality import guitars. Some inexpensive guitars coming from China are using smaller 6mm(M6) threaded bridge posts. This includes many of the fake Gibson guitars...we do not sell conversion posts or a bridge that will fit these guitars.

Brilliant
I've used these on a few imports and they're great. A genuine ABR is a great upgrade for any guitar but your options are limited when you have an import with larger post holes already drilled for the bridge. These will save the day. They sit deep in the existing post mounts and hold snugly while looking and functioning like traditional ABR posts on the top side. Definitely the next best thing to the real thing.

I had tried another vendor's conversion posts but oddly the top section where the thumbwheel screws go was slightly thinner than it should have been - not thin enough to affect function of the thumbwheels but enough that the bridge had some rock to it which I definitely did not like. The posts on these were nice & tight.
