Well Made, but Tight Fit
These are very well made anchors, however, they are a very tight fit in a 1/2" hole. I even reamed the hole out to be dead on 1/2" and still had to drive them in with a brass drift and hammer into the maple top. Still, I think they are worth it, just be careful with your hole sizing.

Good quality parts
The magnet test proves that these are definitely steel! The knurling is much more fine than the original Gibosn anchors, and they're just a hair wider (like several 100ths of an inch), but that didn't pose a problem during installation.
