- Custom laser etched guitar/bass domed knob with knurled texture
- Solid brass - available in black, chrome, gold and smoked black nickel plating
- Approximately 3/4" (18.3mm) diameter and 3/4" (18.15mm) tall
- Fits a 6mm diameter solid control shaft or a fine or coarse split shaft pot
- Uses a set screw to attach to the pot's shaft**

The custom text is permanently laser marked and is not a sticker or printed. The message will appear frosted white on chrome, gold and nickel plating. The message will look frosted gold(or tan) color on the black plating.
Please remember, the more characters on the knob, the smaller the text will be. We will also split multiple words into two lines.

**When installing a set screw knob on a split shaft pot, you should align the set screw with the split so you don't crush the pot's shaft. See the attached image. To install the knobs in another position other than on the split, you can put a small piece of wood(or any small object) between the split to prevent the set screw from crushing the shaft when it is tightened.

Custom engraved knobs
Very nice knobs with plenty of options for engraving what you need. Very cleanly plated and very smooth. I only wish these had an option to select 1/4” holes instead of only 6mm.

Custom Knobs
My first review but not my first time ordering these custom laser etched knobs. I always get the Showcard Gothic option because I like the slick fat letters. No plastic knobs either, these are brass. Makes my custom builds look genuine because no one else is doing this service. I thank the good people at Philadelphia Luthier Tools & Supplies for offering such good work. My favorite colors are Pearl Chrome which looks like a dark grey chrome, very distinct and different from your usual bright chrome and just as shiny. And Cosmo Black. Again chalk up another one for PLTS, because no one carries such colors, its always chrome, gold or jet black.

Custom Laser Marked Domed Guitar Knobs
I ordered knobs for 2 different guitars. The black ones came out stunning and bold. The chrome one is very hard to see/read the custom text. If something could be done to increase contrast, such as copper substrate/plating showing through the etched chrome would be my only desire for improvement. Also, I web-searched for custom knobs, these were way down in the search. Get better search results, and you'd probably sell a lot more of these!
