- Custom laser etched guitar/bass hat knob with knurled texture
- Solid brass - available in black, chrome, and gold plated

- Fits a 6mm diameter solid control shaft or a fine or coarse split shaft pot
- Uses a set screw to attach to the pot's shaft**

The custom text is permanently laser marked and is not a sticker or printed. The message will appear frosted white on chrome, gold and nickel plating. The message will look frosted gold(or tan) color on the black plating.
Please remember, the more characters on the knob, the smaller the text will be. We will also split multiple words into two lines.

**When installing a set screw knob on a split shaft pot, you should align the set screw with the split so you don't crush the pot's shaft. See the attached image. To install the knobs in another position other than on the split, you can put a small piece of wood(or any small object) between the split to prevent the set screw from crushing the shaft when it is tightened.

Custom guitar knobs
Very nice custom knobs. Nice heavy brass, solid feel, with a setscrew for attachment. I was modifying my Strat to include the "blend" option on the middle pickup, so instead of a volume and two tone knobs, I wanted "Volume", "Blend", and "Tone" -- and now I have that on neat laser-etched black knobs. I do wish there was also etching around the skirt of the knobs -- if not the original Fender numbers, then at least some line markings. But I can live without that. These knobs add a real touch of class to the guitar. Well worth the price.

Philadelphia Luthier Tools & Supplies does a fine job every time I order these knobs. I go for the Showcard Gothic option for its psych fat letters. It looks professional and enhances my build's looks. All brass, electroplated and not plastic. My favorite colors are Gold and Black. The black is not like the others sold elsewhere, I assume its a secret recipe of PLTS, very slick and shiny, doesn't look powdery at all. Gives all my guitars a boutique original look.

cool knobs!
I’ve ordered a few of these now, I’m always amazed at how fast they’re made and shipped to me. Price is great! Be aware though, that the engraved chrome (silver) is a very subtle effect, hard to read in certain light. The black knobs have good contrast though.
