The custom text is permanently laser marked and is not a sticker or printed. The message will appear frosted white on chrome, gold and nickel plating. The message will look frosted gold(or tan) color on the black plating.
The plate will fit most guitar & bass necks that utilizing a standard 4 screw Fender neck plate. A black plastic neck plate gasket is available upon request.

Nice finishing touch
This plate is of a very high quality, heavy gauge steel. Add the backing plate, it makes it look all the more classy. The black finish and engraving are both flawless. This added a very nice personal touch to my build and finished it off nicely.
