The no-load tone pot works like a standard tone knob from positions 1-9, but at 10, it will remove itself from the circuit. In the no-load position (full clockwise), you will get the full sound of the pickup, ie more volume, highs, twang, etc.

No load Pots
These are great pots, when no load is dialled in there is a little more sparkle on the top end which works on every pickup I have installed these on. They might not be for everyone and the price might not be justified but if you are a tone chasing hound go get these.
