It fits active pickups mounting hole
If you're on the quest of switching an active pickups factory equipped guitar with passives this will do. No need to ream the holes in the wood any bigger, these will do. As far as I know, at least for ESP you will need something under 8mm diameter shaft so this one was perfect. Quality is just okay, since it is a cheap pot I cleaned it up with CRC contact cleaner which make it feel really lose :-/ the actual shaft feels lose inside the pot even before I mounted it. Cheap, it feels cheap like it's about to fall apart but it will do the trick. If you're really into split coils and you need something reliable I'd look for something else. I don't see any other options available at the moment and just because of that I'll give it 4 stars.

Drop-in replacement for Metric Pots
Reaming out the holes of your import guitar is not required. Push/pull works as expected. Nice thing about these is that the switch is on the inside. Some other brand(s) have a metal prong that sticks out of the casing. I've never used this brand until now so I have no idea how long they'll last.
