Be careful if you spray on a finish...
Unlike other activators I've used over the years, this one had some serious reactions with a finish on a 2012 Fender Strat Neck. The finish seems to be just a straight vintage amber lacquer finish. On contact, this activator makes the finish instantly soft and gooey. It will harden up again after a bit, but will need to be sanded smooth again as there will be some deformation. The debounder does this as well, but that is to be expected as it is probably Naptha based. There should probably be a warning on the bottle to address this issue.
