These are pre-shaped bone nuts with most of the work done for you. These still require final shaping and slotting and are not a drop-in replacement. A proper setup is still required for the nut to perform at its optimum potential.

Wonderful product.. Wish you woukd slso gat one that has a flat bottom instead of thr angke which these have. For the guitars we build the ones you currently sell are perfect. However fir repairs of more recent martins they have the nut positioned on the fingerboard plane not the pgehead plane
