  • White Pearloid Celluloid Nitrate(the sheets are a lot lighter than they appear in the pictures)
  • 1 - 4" X 8" blank sheet
  • Cut your own custom inlays
  • .075” average thickness

These are approx. 4" x 8" and are .075" thickness.  The second picture in the above left shows the size in comparison to 3 sets of crown inlays.   You can easily get enough inlays for 3 guitars or search for the perfect 1950-60 vintage Gibson inlays.  These do not have the white backing so you have a different design on the back.  THESE ARE SOLD AS IS AND WE DO NOT CUT THESE TO CUSTOMERS SPECS.

    Worked great for inlays

As described. Thickness and size accurate. Cupped a little bit. Made for some nice looking inlays much easier than pearl.

It´s a great material!! Matches perfectly the 60s and 70s Gibson inlay material, so it is perfect for repairs and restorations. You can dye it also with a bit of acetone and yellow dye to give an aged look I will buy it again

    Pearloid Celluloid Sheet

I designed my Headstock logo and had it laser cut at a nearby trophy shop. Worked great! I'm sure I could get over 20 of them with this sheet.

    Simply the best

You may have heard the term “ mother of toilet seat “.....this is anything but that. I have done extensive searches on eBay and the like. This material is beautiful and consistent ; as wall as natural looking.

This pearloid is the best you'll find.

I decided to make some inlays to save money. i bought a jewelers saw and made a flower pot inlay for a headstock as seen on a Gibson L-5. it takes a bit of practice but it can be done. one sheet of this will do many, many inlays.
