Hosco's compact crowning file with both fine and coarse surfaces are now available with hard chrome plating. The new plating will allow the file to last 3-5 times longer than standard non-plated high carbon files.
Larger triangles indicate the coarse surface and smaller triangles indicate fine surface. Easy to see arrows indicate cutting direction. Color grip indicates crowning size...Red Wide/Jumbo, Yellow Medium, and Blue Narrow.

Great crowning files
These Hosco files do cut. I expected them to be a little smaller than they are, so the blue file is a must have for the majority of the frets I use, as well as the yellow one.
