These are designed to attach to either Allpart's Fret Tang Nipper(LT-4246-000) or Sintoms Fret Tang Nipper. The limiter will greatly speed up the repeatative process of cutting fret tangs all the same size. It will give you a stop to place the fret against to limit the amount of the fret tang that is removed.

I bought this to accompany the Allparts/Sintoms tang nipper, but I find that I prefer to use the nipper by itself. For a hobbyist like myself who may only do a handful of refrets per year, the time savings are dubious. For a professional luthier, I could see the appeal though.
