Alnico vintage repro bar magnets
Excellent quality and accurate vintage reproduction humbucker/p90 alnico bar magnets. Have ordered from philadelphia luthier supply multiple times and they exceed expectations every time. Rough cast alnico bar magnets are identical to the original ones used by Gibson in the late 50's early 60's. Worth every penny.

Tollhouse, sweet and crunchy
I swapped the A5 magnet in a 9k bridge humbucker for this magnet and I really like the results. It is a classic rock machine now, with a bit of A2 creaminess and chime, but a firmer low end response plus a little extra compression. It is the best of the 70's in a bar.

Secret Weapon
Someone said that alnico 4 can be a great secret weapon in a bridge pickup. I had alnico 2 and wanted to try something different. Alnico 5, whether the strong version or the unoriented, put too much of a prominent resonant frequency in the tone. These rough cast A4 magnets were just the thing to knock down that peak and get a nice even tone in the bridge pup, so I don't have to turn down the tone knob as much. That way I can keep it brighter without being harshly piercing. I've got this magnet in an 8k and another 10k bridge pup.

Vintage vibe
Perfect magnet for PAF replicas. Cast just like the original. I personally use these in all of my guitars and to me give the most natural sound to any pickup. Always have helped clean a muddy neck pickup in a Les Paul. Not every one's cup of tea but worth a try at this price.
