    Get these!

Posted by Brett V on Nov 7, 2023

Got these for my 2022 Standard 50's, I didn't like the shorter rings it came with. A touch (1 mm maybe) wider, neck to bridge width, but 30 seconds with a file on the pickguard and perfect! Why pay theses other guys crazy money? Love Em!

    Great rings!

I don’t think folks understand that “vintage” cream plastic parts are not all the same Colour! A lot of times the rings were darker or the input jack plate was darker. With Vintage Les Paul’s, usually most of the plastic pieces never matched. The colours were dependent on how much was added when the batch was being mixed up. It’s very easy today, but back in the ‘50’s the parts varied from batch to batch. The pickguard was stamped out of a sheet of 4-ply butryte, the switch ring was 2-ply as was the input jack. These are very nice parts and somebody went to a lot of expense to have molds made for the pickup rings! They normally run about $20k to have a mold machined out of steel..

    Perfect Parts

I bought a set of the black vintage size butyrate mounting rings for 1/5 the price that Creamtone was selling them for. I'm very happy with all the guitar parts I've bought from y'all.

    Very Pleased!

Posted by Mark Smith on Aug 17, 2023

I put these on a a 2013 LP Trad Pro II and the color is lighter than vintage cream, but still looks very much like older LPs, where the pickup rings don't quite match the pickguard or binding. I used the stock screws from the 3/8 and 1/4 rings and these will lay flat with a little torque from your screwdriver. I love the price of the rings even more!

Vintage Size Butyrate Mounting Ring Set

Nice rings for FAR less than you pay from pickup winders and vintage restoration sites. I wished they offered them in cream, as well, as they are a bit bright. A bit of a soak in tea helps a lot, though!

VINTAGE SIZE BUTYRATE MOUNTING RING SET

Posted by Fabrice A. on Jul 19, 2023

Just received my new pickups mounting rings to replace my old broken ones today. Having in mind that basically every single manufacturer claiming they resurrected the M69 Butyrate rings, unless you spend a small fortune, usually get something wrong, in most cases, the color, so at this price tag, my expectations weren’t very high but thought hey, let’s give those a try. To my surprise, those are the right “vintage white shade” with correct dimensions, I couldn’t be happier, fits and looks just right! Highly recommend those.
