Alnico 3 Bar Magnet 2.444" x .492" x .125" Magnetized Qty 2

I bought a set of these alnico three bar magnets to replace some ceramic magnets in a set of pick ups. They arrive lightning fast. The service from Philadelphia luthiers is superb. The magnets were perfect and it took less than 15 minutes to do the installation. This is the perfect place to buy a guitar parts.

I'll be using these in most of my neck pickups from now on. Really gets rid of that nasty low end that other magnets produce which can be a good thing on a bridge pickup. Gets a nice "ahh" tone if that makes any sense. Really nice string definition. I've tried most magnets in the neck and these win every time. Well made and colour coded so you don't mix different type magnets if you have them together.

Swapping out your pickup's magnet is a quick and easy mod that can make a dramatic difference in your sound and Alnico 3 is fast becoming my favorite magnet for it. A very woody and dynamic character with a tight bass, crisp highs, low pull/output. Very growly with gain applied. What you put in is what you can expect to get out, tonally. These are excellent examples of a fine magnet that is rightly growing in popularity.

These bars are alnico 3 for sure.Very low magnetic strenght even fully charged, they barely stay attached to the refrigerator door.Gave my new pickups a unique character not muddy at all as described from some pickup makers.Lets your notes ring and gives great dynamics according to your picking strength.They give the guitar the ability to "breathe"and give out its own characteristics

This was for a Gibson P-90 neck pickup on a custom 12 string. The Alnico 5 magnets were too harsh when blended with a Tele bridge. The Alnico 3 was the perfect marriage. Perfect parts and great value.

These bars are great!They produce great tone in the humbuckers i used them!Highly recommended!
