Used them to darken the tone of p 90 pickups. Gave a more '50s vintage tone, less harsh to my ears.

Works
I replaced a ceramic magnet in a Pevey humbucker with one of these. It did change the tone of the guitar and it was much cheaper to swap the magnet than to change the humbucker. Does it sound like a Duncan or a DiMarzio? No but, if you're like me and on a budget, it's worth it to just change the magnet.

Fit perfectly in my P90 dogear and tamed the bite. I got the II's along with the Alnico IV's but never tried the IV's because the II's did what I needed. Thanks!

I bought a set of these magnets to put in an Ibanez AS 153. The magnets came from Philadelphia to Long Beach California in three days. Amazing service but what I usually get from Philadelphia Luthiers. The magnets were perfect and fit exactly as they should. I couldn’t ask for a better set.
