Black paper pickup tape is ideally suited for wrapping and protecting humbucker and single coil pickups from damage. This roll has more texture and not as glossy as the TOYA brand black paper pickup tape.

Black Textured Paper Pickup Coil Tape
Works as it should. I realized after I received it that the paper tapes are a little thicker than the fabric tapes. This did make clearance issues for me, as I was doing several layers more to cover an added copper shielding to the coils. Most people are not going to need to add enough tape to cause any issues. Next time I will buy the fabric type tape for my special applications. This is a good product.
