The GB350 is part of GOTOH's Res-o-lite series of super lightweight bass tuning machines heads. GOTOH was able to achieve excellent weight savings by using a special alloy call "duralumin". These lightweight tuning machines are able to help the tendency for bass guitars to "neck dive" and also make long playing sessions more comfortable.
Guitar and Bass tuning machines are described by the side the headstock the machine mounts to when the headstock is viewed from the front. "L" is left side and "R" is right side. Please remember this when placing your order.

I put these on my D’Mark Omega 5 string and they are awesome, took nearly 1/2 a pound off the end of the neck. Waiting on them to get back in stock so I can order another set for A different bass

These are very strong and well-made tuning machines, and I ordered these on recommendation to replace the machines on my Ibanez SoundGear SR305, as one had broken. Night and day better designed and manufactured than the OEM, and Philadelphia Luthier Tools & Supplies did an excellent job getting me to pick the right combination and get them to me SUPER-fast and in excellent condition!!! I wish I had more thumbs to give! There is some very minimal modification with a file required to enlarge the hole in the head for my model, but once in, perfect!

Keeping the headstock light
5-string basses, as you know, can suffer from weight on the headstock. I've bought 3 sets of GB350 Res-o-lite tuners (2 from Phil.LT) during the past year and have enjoyed the result. These tuners (including the sleeve, ring and screw) weigh 40 grams. Very light. I recently swapped a set of GB11W tuners for GB350s. A saving of 244 grams (8.6 oz!!). These are worth their (low) weight in gold.

My Favorites
Tried most tuners out there, these are my favorites. Light, high quality and smooth. Smoother and more consistent action than other comparable lightweight tuners. If GB350's fit a bass, I will install them, If they don't, I will go with the GB640's or GB528

Perfect for Mikro 4-string
EXCELLENT service and product! FAST shipping. Tuners dropped right in to a Ibanez Mikro 4-string. No drilling or reaming needed (this is a newer model). Neck dive is gone and tuning is much more stable. Worth the upgrade if you play a lot.

To keep this short, I've invested in several Gotoh products and haven't been disappointed in any of them. These tuners in particular look great and work just as well as more pricey alternatives.

These were a direct replacement for the stock tuning machines on my Ibanez BTB bass. The weigh about half of what the originals weighed.
