The GOTOH MG-T uses an intuitive rear mounted thumbwheel locking mechanism for fast string changes.
We are selling the SG360-01-MGT in 2 pre-configured sets for your convenience. The 3Lx3R and 4Lx2R include all long(20mm) string posts.
Also sold individually to make your own custom set configurations.
Locking tuning machines will use a shorter post than non-locking tuning machines. The string posts are on average about 1/16" (2-3mm) shorter so you will have the proper downward pressure at the nut and increased tuning stability.

Great locking tuners.
I bought these to replace the same style Gotoh tuners that didn't have the locking mechanism (thankfully I didn't have to drill new screw holes). Wow! - what a difference. String changes are a breeze with these little babies! These tuners are very smooth when you turn them. I really like the bigger finger knobs - that seems to help with torque better than the smaller finger knobs (the original tuners had the small knobs). The larger finger knobs also give it PRS look to it. But just as important, the strings seem to stay in tune better (maybe because I've always been bad at winding the string around the post ;-). I hate changing strings as much as I hate writing reviews but this shop and the product earned it. Great tuners, easy to change strings, I put them on my McPherson touring carbon ax and changed out the knobs to smaller ones. Fantastic. As was the service!
